Our Mission

The name Kehillat Chaim in Hebrew means Community of Life. We are a Reform Jewish congregation that seeks to meet the spiritual, educational cultural and social needs of our members. We welcome both traditional and interfaith couples to our congregation.

The goal of our congregation is to build a vibrant and dynamic Jewish community for our membership that will nurture their growth and development both as individuals and as a community.

We have a long tradition of community service and social action, working with both the Jewish and secular communities. It is one of the primary tenets of Judaism, the mitzvah of Tikkun Olam (repairing the world). We incorporate this ideal into the many community programs and events that we support around Atlanta.
