B'nai Mitzvah

At Temple Kehillat Chaim, we see Bar and Bat Mitzvah—"son and daughter of the commandment"—as a profound step into Jewish adulthood. For us, this special occasion is not the culmination of a child's Jewish education, but the exciting start of a lifelong exploration of their Jewish identity and the richness of the Torah.
 

We'll help you schedule your child's Bar or Bat Mitzvah date approximately two years before their 13th birthday. From that point on, we'll guide you and your child through every stage of preparation, ensuring they are ready to confidently ascend the bima (pulpit), read from the Torah, and embrace their new responsibilities as a b'nai mitzvah.
