High Holy Days 5786

Everyone is welcome to worship with us during the High Holy Days!  If you don't have a permanent temple, this is a perfect time to visit us, meet our members and worship.

Please complete the form below for all the items listed on this page. All forms were consolidated this year so you should only complete the one form.

Member Tickets & Parking Passes

Members will automatically receive tickets in the mail per their membership category. Members may purchase additional tickets, a much-coveted premium parking space, and RSVP for childrens' services using the High Holy Day form link above. RSVP for teen services seperately. Please complete by August 25, 2025.

Visitor Tickets

If you do not currently belong to our Temple, we would love for you to join us! Member relative tickets are $75 each, and non-member tickets are $150 each. Invite your family and friends! Member relatives are defined as parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren only. Please pay on the Payment page. Simply fill in the total dollar amount, type your name, and how many and what type of ticket(s) in the purpose of payment box, then click on the Pay Now button.

Complimentary tickets are available to first-time attendees. Second-year attendees will receive membership to Temple Kehillat Chaim for a year with their ticket payment.  (Contact the office for eligibility for both of these programs.)

Selichot Service

Selichot is the Saturday evening before Rosh Hashanah, and our Selichot Service (prayers of forgiveness) is held to start the Days of Awe. Join us for this special evening of spirituality and music on Saturday, September 13, 2025, beginning at 8:00 pm, including light refreshments, music, and service. RSVP for Selichot is not required but requested. Please email the office at office@kehillatchaim.org to RSVP.

Flower and Food Basket Fund

Every year for the High Holidays, we ask if congregants would like to contribute to the Flower & Food Basket Fund. On Rosh Hashanah, we display food baskets from the Jewish Family and Career Services (JF&CS), the proceeds of which are used to help the needy.  On Yom Kippur, we enhance the beauty of our pulpit with flowers and greenery.

Many people donate in honor or memory of someone special in their lives by contributing Chai ($18.00) or multiples of Chai.

All contributions to this fund that are received by August 25, 2025, will be listed in the High Holy Day programs.

Yizkor Book and Yizkor Plaque

This year, we will have a Memorial Presentation that will run throughout the Yizkor Service on Yom Kippur. If you would like to include the names of loved ones who have passed away, please complete the Yizkor Book portion of the form no later than August 25, 2025. You can also email a photograph to go into the presentation to office@kehillatchaim.org. Any forms received after this date will be listed as a donation in the next issue of the Kol Kehillah newsletter.

It is a meaningful custom to make a donation in memory of a loved one to continue their legacy in the amount of Chai ($18.00)

or multiples of Chai (Chai means “Life” in Hebrew).  If you would like to dedicate a Yizkor plaque to be displayed in our lobby, please use the Yizkor Plaque Form

Tree of Life

The purpose of the Tree of Life is to commemorate the joyous occasions that have touched your life. A special anniversary, bar / bat mitzvah, birth, or wedding can be remembered again each time you enter the Kehillah. The cost of each leaf is $180.00.  To order a leaf or leaves, please fill in the Tree of Life Form
