High Holy Days
Everyone is welcome to worship with us during the High Holy Days! If you don't have a permanent temple, this is a perfect time to visit us, meet our members and worship.
Member Tickets
Members will automatically receive tickets in the mail per their membership category. Members may purchase
additional tickets, a much coveted premium parking space, and join us at our Rosh Hashanah traditional lunch at
Thai House following services using the Member Order Form. Please place your order by August 25, 2022.
Visitor Tickets
If you do not currently belong to our Temple, we would love for you to join us! Member relative tickets are $75 each
and non-member tickets are $150 each. Invite your family and friends! Click on the Buy Tickets button, and you
will be directed to the Make-A-Payment page. Simply fill in the total dollar amount, type your name, how many and
what type of ticket(s) in the purpose of payment box, then click on the Pay Now button.
Complimentary tickets are available to first-time attendees. Second year attendees will receive membership to Temple
Kehillat Chaim for a year with their ticket payment. (Contact the office for eligibility for both of these programs.)
Selichot Service
Selichot is the Saturday evening before Rosh Hashanah, and our Selichot Service (prayers of forgiveness) is held to
start the Days of Awe. Join us for this special evening of spirituality and music on Saturday, September 17, 2022,
beginning at 8:00 pm, including light refreshments, music and service. Please use the Selichot RSVP form by
August 25, 2022, to let us know you will be there.
Rosh Hashanah Lunch
All are welcome to join us for our traditional lunch at the Thai House following Rosh Hashanah services. Please
RSVP no later than August 25, 2022, using the Thai House RSVP Form to let us know you are coming.
Tashlich Service and Rosh Hashanah Tot Service at Roswell River Landing
All are welcome to join the River Landing for our congregation-wide Tashlich Service at 3:45 PM, followed by
our Rosh Hashanah Tot Service (appropriate for children 2 years of age through 2nd Grade) at 4:00 PM.
Flower and Food Basket Fund
Every year for the High Holidays, we ask if congregants would like to contribute to the Flower & Food Basket
Fund. On Rosh Hashanah, we display food baskets from the Jewish Family and Career Services (JF&CS), the
proceeds of which are used to help the needy. On Yom Kippur we enhance the beauty of our pulpit with
flowers and greenery.
Many people donate in honor or memory of someone special in their lives by contributing Chai ($18.00) or multiples of Chai.
All contributions to this fund that are received by September 12, 2022 will be listed in the High Holy Day programs. Please use
the Flower or Food Basket Form to order.
Yizkor Book and Yizkor Plaque
A Memorial Booklet is prepared for the Yizkor Service on Yom Kippur. If you would like to include the names of
loved ones who have passed away, please complete the Yizkor Book Form and return it to the Kehillah office
no later than August 25, 2022. Any forms received after this date will be listed as a donation in the October
Kol Kehillah.
It is a meaningful custom to make a donation in memory of a loved one to continue their legacy in the amount of Chai ($18.00)
or multiples of Chai (Chai means “Life” in Hebrew). If you would like to dedicate a Yizkor plaque to be displayed in our lobby, please
use the Yizkor Book Form.
Tree of Life
The purpose of the Tree of Life is to commemorate the joyous occasions that have touched your life. A special
anniversary, bar / bat mitzvah, birth, or wedding can be remembered again each time you enter the Kehillah.
The cost of each leaf is $180.00. To order a leaf or leaves, please fill in the Tree of Life Form and return to
the office.
Childcare
Childcare is by prior reservation only and will be offered for adult morning services on both Rosh Hashanah
and Yom Kippur. We offer affordable childcare in a SAFE, fun environment for your child. Children without
reservations will NOT be allowed to be left in the babysitting rooms and may NOT be left unattended
anywhere else on the premises.
3rd-5th Grade Youth Service
3rd - 5th Grade Service and Program - 10:00 am (will run concurrently with Adult and Teen Morning Services).
Credit Card Authorization
For your convenience, you may pay by credit card. If you choose to do so, please fill out the
