President's Blog: Don't Stop Believin' - June/July 2025

In less than 3 months, our membership has raised almost half of the $150,000 toward the Capital Campaign!  Our new roof has been paid for and now Andy Abrams and others will sleep well, knowing we will not wake to a phone call about a roof leak in our building.  I cannot thank you all enough for your commitment and contributions.

But we can’t stop, won’t stop, must not stop, there.  We still need to repair and pave the Green Street parking lot and update and refresh our social hall.  The Capital Campaign is $80,000 short of our goal, but I am confident we will achieve our goal.

You may have already received a phone call or email from a Board or Finance committee member to discuss the Capital Campaign, answer any lingering questions, and ask for your support.  Again, thank you to those who have pledged or donated.  In the next few weeks, please think back to those conversations or voicemails you received and consider making a contribution to the upkeep and the future of our Kehillah and our building.  No amount is too small, and every dollar is greatly appreciated.

As one of my favorite bands, Journey sang, Don’t Stop Believin’!  We can do this!  I believe we can reach the finish line and tackle BOTH the parking lot project AND the refresh of our social hall.  Do YOU believe it?
